What Makes the Nikon 7218 Different from Others?

First off, by purchasing the Nikon Action binoculars, you get that excellent Nikon quality that is both well-known and recognized across the world. Furthermore, you get a set of binoculars that are destined for action just as the names states it. Most entry-level products offer generic features that cannot offer you the best of all worlds. With the Nikon 7218, you know what you get. You will not have the best range in the world and you will not be able to see the Moon’s craters, but you will surely manage to take amateur birding to the next level.

For those of you who know a thing or two about binoculars, you should be aware of some particularities that could seem irrelevant to some. The Nikon Action have a wide angle design, eye relief somewhere around 10mm and a close focus comfortably set in the 12 foot range.

The armor is excellent and provides excellent grip. Gripping aids will not be necessary for the Nikon 10×50 Action binoculars unless you are dedicated to spending long hours in difficult conditions. You will be able to enjoy this comfortable set of binoculars for a long time without a problem.

Pros of the Nikon Action Binoculars

Compared to others, the Nikon Action is definitely on top of the customer’s preferences. The price makes it one of the best-selling items on the market. You will not be able to understand how fantastic this Nikon 7218 Action 10 X 50mm Binoculars is until you test it. It offers enhanced brightness and vivid colours. The aspheric lens technology is also a decisive factor that improves the overall experience. The focus is sharper than you would expect for such an affordable product, and the design is cool, as well.

Cons

This Nikon 7218 Action 10 X 50mm Binoculars is a pretty decent device, even when compared to other more expensive binoculars. If you consider the price, you will have a terribly hard time finding issues with it. It performs a lot better than expected. If you do know something about binoculars, you will find this particular model a bit too large to carry around when long distances are involved. You will also notice that the weight is not the most adequate for people who are not used to carrying extra weight on their trips. Some also consider the lack of fog and waterproofing a disadvantage, but I guess that depends on where you plan on using the binoculars.

My Personal Experience with These Nikon 10×50 Action Binoculars

I have used a lot of binoculars in my time, and I can tell you these Nikon binoculars are among the nicest I owned. I am a huge fan of birding, which probably influenced my take on the Nikon 7218. I have to say though that they are not perfect. The binoculars developed by Nikon are tough and very well built but don’t often address larger targets. They focus on a particular group. That is why these compact binoculars are not waterproof and cannot deal with fog. Their main purpose is to satisfy amateur bird watchers or butterfly observers that don’t have to deal with difficult weather conditions.

Useful Tips

I recommend using the Nikon 10×50 Action binoculars with some add-ons, which will improve the overall experience. Spending a few extra bucks on things like a Nikon lens cleaner or a tripod adaptor is definitely worth it.

Is the Nikon 7218 a Good Buy?

If you are looking for an entry-level pair of binoculars that are built to last and cost a lot less than other less effective competitors, look no further. The Nikon 7218 are intended for amateurs, who want to take things to the next level by investing in a decent optical device without having to put a dent in their budget.

Conclusion.

Remember that the Nikon 7218 Action 10 X 50mm Binoculars is destined for those who want to keep a distance in order not to scare away their targets. Birds and butterflies are the perfect objectives to admire thorough one of the most well performing entry-level optical device on the market.

They look good, beautiful design, wide FOV however slightly heavy and short eye relief (just 12mm), it’s not enough for me, a wearer of glasses
